Happy Chinese Democracy Day XD. As some of you might now, I've been fed up with Tripod's limitations for a while now. So,
Critical Mass has changed URLs:

Things have gotten a bit hectic lately, but the team decided in the end that it'd be best for Enigma to step down as
Shining Firefly. Elec will replace him; her bio is now visible on the site and the links have been updated to correspond
to this roster change.
However, this probably won't matter much in the end, since we're moving the website anyway. I'll post a link as
soon as the new site is ready for the showing.

Thanks to Avi, we have our first affiliate: Cosmos, the Mega Man: StarForce Team. Feel free to check these guys
out: They're pretty new to the scene, like us, but they're one great (even if completely crazy) group. I also thought
to make a page on our affiliation requirements; you can get there from the main page or the Links page (click on
the headline that says "Affiliates") there.

The bio for the Skiver II is up for viewing now. That's it for
today.
Sunday, August 24, 2008
Well, after seven months, Critical Mass is no longer "under construction"! *Celebrates*
What that means is that the intros are out of the way now. We have the third epilogue up for viewing, a couple
new profiles for the new characters, and a little new artwork for looking at.
Also, we've found a replacement for Nine. Xima will be taking up the reins as the Skiver now; his bio will be on
the site once it is completed. Glad to have you on board Xima!

No third epilogue yet. My reason for posting now is to make a little edit to continuity just to make things
seem a bit more realistic. It's basically a change to the time setting, which entails changing certain lengths of time:
- The storyline now begins five years after the Eurasia Crisis rather than just a single year.
- Shelly and Elvont have been a couple for just over three years rather than an impossible-by-the-storyline fourteen;
the exact time of Necrobat's reactivation is ambiguous.
- Vincent had spent ten, not six, years in prison (mainly a result of the extension of the time since the Eurasia Crisis).
Other than this, there's one more thing: We've dropped Nine as the Skiver due to a lack of activity. However, I
want to make this clear:
I am not accepting applications for the position of Spiral Pegacion/the Skiver. We're
picking a member for that position by hand and I like to think that we are very close to finding a new member.
Pardon my abuse of the font size tool, but I just wanted to make that clear. Do not contact us regarding the position;
if we're interested, we'll contact you.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, we now have our second epilogue up, but because of a change of plans, there will
be one more on the way before we actually get into the fun stuff. But hopefully this next one won't take another three
months to write…
There are also a couple of extra links up on the site, in the form of roleplaying boards created by our members.
I suggest joining them if you haven't already.

Well, the MegaMan: Battle Network 2 Team recently finished its new site, and we have a
team member that also works over there, so I've provided a link to their site. That's it for today.

Added my YouTube channel to the links page.

Well, after three months, we finally have completed the first epilogue. I hope you like it. I have also
added some works to Regulus's art gallery as well as mine, and have added to the Profiles section the description of a weapon which
I hadn't realized until now that Axle the Red has.
I'm not sure how long it will take to complete the second epilogue, but I am confident that it will most likely be worth
the wait.

I've just added a couple of new additions to the Links section. I just noticed that the Mega Man Homepage had linked
to us, so we've linked to it in return. There's also a link for two forums: Buster Cannon Forums (which does not
have more than a few members that are in the team scene) and Mega Man Teams United (which has plenty of members
that are in the team scene). That's all for now, but I think you can expect our first epilogue to finally be up within
the next two weeks.
At Regulus's suggestion, the music files on the site have been taken down temporarily. We'll put them
back up soon, but for now, the site is music-less.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all you Irish folk (including Enigma, our very own Shining Firefly). Today, there's
a new picture by Regulus in his art gallery. I've also made a slight update to the Links section, editing
the Reploid Rebellion's description and a link to a non-team site, named Maverick Hunter.
Speaking of which, I've added some of the Mega Man X5 themes, ripped by Maverick Hunter, to our page (thanks to Jade
for telling me how to code for music in HTML). Of course, I think you've already noticed that unless your speakers were
turned off for whatever reason. Besides this page, the main Profiles page and each member's profile page now have music.
I think it's a pretty cool idea, though if I hear that it gets annoying, I might try to lower the number of pages
with music.
Also, I think I said the first epilogue would probably be up about a week or so from the previous update.
I'm not sure when it will be up now, but we're working on it, so just you wait.
Well, today finally sees that art update I had promised. I've created art galleries for myself and two other members
and have also added some more to the Links section, including Final Destination Pixelation, the online sprite comic co-authored
by Regulus; and the Reploid Rebellion, the Megaman X6 Team to whom we're returning the favor of having linked to us.
Also, we have had a full roster for a couple of weeks now, but I had held off on announcing it for a bit.
Zymeth has joined as Volt Kraken, though it was somewhat difficult to decide on this. For those of you readers that
understand who Zymeth is and why this was a tough decision for us, please respect the decision that we have made. For
those of you who don't know why this was a tough decision, consider yourselves lucky to be out of the loop on that subject.
I'd rather not go into detail, so instead I shall congratulate Zymeth for getting this position.
Also, Critical Mass's first official epilogue is almost halfway complete. Hopefully we will have it up within the
next week or so, but I can't say for sure. However, I can say that it IS coming soon, so stay tuned.

I've added to the Links section a link to Regulus (Dark Necrobat)'s deviantART account, and I intend to
add a few Mega Man X5- or Critical Mass-related drawings made by our members to the Images gallery soon.
Also, we've actually had Nine sitting around as the Skiver for a couple of days now, but I didn't realize
that no one had announced it here yet. So, that means that the only open position at this point is Volt Kraken/Squid
Adler, but I think it's as good as closed at this point, with only two more people needed to approve a
certain application. We should have the first epilogue or two up soon as well.

Even though it's Indy who made the update, this is actually REX announcing it. We now have two more members: Elvont
Lecarde (Regulus) as Dark Necrobat and Santo-bot (Naop) as Tidal Whale. Congratulations to both of you!

Things are looking good right now; we've officially reached the halfway mark. Shadow of the Awesome AKA Anime~Paperclip
AKA DarkMegamanX is our new Axle the Red, and his profile is already up. Congratulations punching b— excuse me—
DMX!

I'm pleased to announce that I am no longer working on this site alone! I now have two new members: Indiana Starry, or
Akutare, is our new Crescent Grizzly, and Dr. Zap, or Enigma, is our Shining Firefly. Their profiles are already
up, and I've also added the other teams that they're on and Enigma's deviantART to the Links section. Congratulations
to both of you!
No new members yet, but I did do a little updating to the images when I found out the sprites in the Images section and
stage select picture in the Profiles section doubled as links to my Photobucket page. (Credit goes to Avi for pointing
this out.) All the images on the site are now just images.
Monday, January 21, 2008
Well, I think that, after hours on end working on the design of this site and the forum, Critical Mass is ready
to be presented to the world! Now, the biggest problem at the moment is finding people to take the other seven positions.
Feel free to e-mail me (see the Contact section) or talk to me on the forums (see the Links section) if you
want to join.
